Well, we have a lot on our plate (stunning as it truly is).

Antiques & Uncommon Treasure’s website is now launched.  It’s a ‘work in progress’ and is to be used primarily as a tool that allows you to navigate our internet presence, including our working retail shop at Ruby Lane, our eBay auctions, our Facebook page (which is a rich depostitory for information, photos, travel and reading/reference lists), and our presence on Twitter.

The navigation bar to the right will take you to all sites, by location or by your

interest (subject).  The topical list is a sample of our goods, but once you get to the shop, use the ‘search’ box to find even more wonderful treasures in a much broader range of collector’s interests.  It is meant to be a link but not to limit either your imagination, our scope or your enjoyment as you wander the ‘aisles’ of our internet shop.

Each site does something a little different:

eBay is our auction format site and most of our newest items go there first. We often also include ‘Buy it Now’ inventory there, but fees are high and we do prefer you buy the same item through our other shop site online, which is:

RL (Ruby Lane) site currently has our ‘open 24/7/365’ shop with an expansive and dynamic inventory for you to shop at fixed prices: no bidding; no waiting.

Facebook (just begun in June, 2009) is where we’re sharing the passion for these elegant old treasures; sharing travel and buying tips; sharing reference books we love; and generally going ‘face to face’ with a fast growing group of ‘fans’.  We’ll be using it to offer ‘SALE’ coupons, discounts on a whim, etc., too. It’s fun, come and join us as a fan and see what we mean.

Twitter (just begun in June 2009) is a way to post new listings, to notify customers of sales or drop in a coupon now and then just to see if you’re following us there. Think of it as our immediate news feed, update site!
