Fabulous antique French 1819-1838 hallmarked sterling silver 6pc teaspoon set with ornate acanthus or foliate pattern and kept in a wonderful tooled & embossed leather box, case or etui! The spoons are all in wonderful condition, as you can see in the images. The ornate pattern on the fronts of the handles with the rear smooth, the bowls have those distinct old pointed tips. The box appears original though the fittings are just a bit longer than the spoons themselves. All spoons bear the 1819-1838 French Michel-Ange or Michelangelo hallmark, the tiny number "1" within means they're in .950 silver (95% pure and above the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). There are no silversmith marks that I can see.
Very good to excellent condition, as described above. See images for all weights and measurements.
