Found ages ago in France, just never got listed - this is a charming Napoleon III era (c.1850-70) sacramental goblet, or perhaps a votive candle holder. Celeste blue opaline cup lifts out of its ormolu stand. The stand is complete and also excellent, still with all 4 large French 'paste' gems in place. I've shown it in some group photos, but you are buying just the blue goblet. I have used it and the smaller and older jeweled petit planter as candle holders in a powder room during parties at home and everyone raved over them. Little beautiful accents make such a difference, don't they! Full measurements noted on the photos.

Very good to excellent condition for age and type. Napoleon III era, c.1850-70s, I don't see a flaw to point out. Base is level and glass is thick, no chips. All 4 gems remain firmly mounted in place, 2 green and 2 red.
