Wonderful antique French Napoleon III or Victorian era 6 5/8" tall picture frame, highly intricate pierced or reticulated vines & foliage framework with original easel stand back and bird finial! One of three similar frames that we're adding this week, each in this reticulated wire style and roughly of the same late 1800s age. This one bronze or brass with a silvered or nickel plated finish and gorgeous, intricate wire vines with textured leaves, branch or bamboo outer and that lovely little bird perched on top. The back is hinged, original as is the easel stand. A beautiful smaller picture frame, you'll love it!
Very good condition. Some wear to the silvered plating, the gold of the bronze or brass beneath showing in areas. No losses that I can see. The glass is a replacement. See images for all measurements.
