I love the old semiprecious gemstone set thimbles, and this one is particularly beautiful. Unmarked, but tests 14k gold, it was part of a grouping of fabulous sewing antiques I had bought a while back. Little bits, like jewelry almost. Weight is 4.19 grams. Thimble is 22mm tall, 12mm across opening (diameter). NOTE: the silk embroidery upon which it's been photographed is not included.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, it seems like it hasn't been used, though may have been. Very pretty, quite thick, no damage or loss at all. No chips or needle marks on the gemstone. Acid tested at 14k, I see no marks, no size.
