All the rage through several decades, not certain then this one was created. I've owned it for 2 decades, worn it a couple of times in Paris. It's a superb and cared for vintage waist-length black cashmere sweater, 2 clasp closure at waist. The fine ones were lined, as this one is, with lace hand sewn in the body of the sweater, not in arms. Color is black, though it seems to show as charcoal on the photos. I wore it as size 6-10, a Medium, I'd say, though might have been a large originally (people were smaller then and sizes different). I don't find a size label, or maker label. Arms are long, it's waist-length. I'm 5'8" tall, 6-10 depending upon the designer.
Very good to excellent condition, a nod to a small bit of pilling for the cashmere, primarily on back where it's rubbed against a car seat. I haven't used a pilling shaver on it, but this will come right off with one of those. There are no scents or odors and it's clean - I had it dry-cleaned when I bought it as vintage. The fur! The fur is to die for, really. Lush, thick, supple leather. You might wish to use the fur on something else. Priced only for the vintage fur, though it's certainly wearable (and cute!) just as it is. I would have worn it more but I'm in SoCA, too sunny and warm here. Endless summer. Plus the fact it's so lush and soft, I found it difficult to stop petting the fur. ; )
