Fine antique French Napoleon III or Victorian era hand carved solid wood 10 3/4" tall bracket or wall shelf pair, large seashells with fruit or flowers & foliage! Just in from France, large & heavy and these would make wonderful decorative accents for sure! Each entirely hand carved front one solid block of wood, the back and shelf surface panels then attached for the beauties you see. Deep, dark wood finish or patina, very Victorian! Priced to move, don't miss them!
Good to very good condition. There are a few chips, an age or drying split or two to the center seashell carvings. One piece has what looks like furniture wax in some of the recessed carved areas and one of the shelf surfaces has a glue repaired split toward the front. All have the original bronze hanging hardware, marked "Depose". The weigh roughly 3 lbs each. See pictures for all measurements.
