Lovely antique French Belle Epoque era 18k gold on sterling silver "vermeil" 4.75" condiment or hors d'oeuvre serving spoon with Empire style wing & torch accented pattern and spiral fluted bowl! Yes, a single piece here but don't you just want to use it for everything? Jam at breakfast, condiments, caviar, even an elegant tea scoop... The uses basically only limited by your imagination. The pattern we've had before though the name of it slipping my mind. A mix of aesthetic and Empire with wreath, bow & ribbon under that spiraled bowl and winged torch on the handle. Fabulous! It bears the French Minerva or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" within means it's in .950 silver under the gold plating. The silversmith mark is for Henri Lapparra, Paris circa 1920s. Wonderful, don't miss it!
Very good condition. No damage or repairs to note but, as you can see in the images, there is visible wear to the gold plating. See pictures for measurements and weight.
