Gorgeous antique French sterling silver 2pc condiment or hors d'oeuvre serving implement set, a reticulated spoon & scoop or spatula with acanthus pattern and shimmering solid mother of pearl handles! Likely from a set of four originally, or larger flatware ensemble but these two are simply wonderful and we had to have them. A Classical or Empire style pattern with acanthus & those lovely pierced or reticulated bowls and easily fit into your existing fine table service surely. Both solid silver and bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" within those marks means they're in .950 silver (95% pure so higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith marks are for Emile Huignard, Paris circa 1880s. A lovely set, don't miss them.
Very good condition. As you can see in the images, no chips or cracks in the pearl handles, no damage and no repairs to the silver. See pictures for individual weights and measurements.
