Fruits of the Hunt plaque. The unusual inclusion of a rooster on this game carving seems unique, though a longer tail so perhaps a rooster pheasant of some sort. It an another bird hang upside down, an open game bag large enough to hold pipe and pouch or even cigars. Were it smaller, I'd say it's a match holder, but as large as it is, perhaps a spill holder. Beautifully carved, and free of chips or damage and loss. Full measurements noted on the photos.

Very good to excellent condition for age and type, this oversized wall pocket is without any large chips or cracks or breaks. As you can see, a few tiny chips which show lighter than the stain. I left them that way for photos so you could see where they are, but they're very small and will disappear with a touch of stain. The hunter's pouch hangs below the bird and there's a powder horn
