Fabulous antique French Belle Epoque era sterling silver double open salt, condiment or sweetmeat caddy, elegant styling with aesthetic styling, scrolled feet, thick cut octagonal shaped glass or crystal wells and wonderful condition! The entire piece, base, feet, well fixtures and handles are in a wonderfully simple yet elegant shape with just a hint of ornamentation represented in the tall center handle and shaped base with scrolled cabriole style feet, very attractive! The French Minerve or Minerva hallmark in several visible areas, the tiny number "1" within those marks designating .950 silver content (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for sterling silver). The silversmith marks are for Alphonse Debain, Paris circa 1911-1916. A beautiful older piece, don't miss it.
Very good condition. A tiny nip or two possible to the glass wells but no chips, cracks or other damage. The sterling silver base and handle are also in great shape with no dents, damage or repairs. See pictures for measurements.
