Clever ephemera Victorian era souvenir of London. Architectural views, 15 in all (1 panel missing) create a card tray by pulling the string, tightening the circumference of the upper tier of images. Undated, but for the British registration codes on the stamp on bottom (I did not look it up for exact date). The round souvenir images, 15 in all, are 1 1/2" in diameter, and the 2-tiered embossed card souvenir basket is 8 7/8" diameter when flat and creates an upper raised basket to 2" depth, which then shows off the lower set of 8 images. The little intaglio prints are remarkable for their tight architectural detail - each little works of art. Late Victorian era to as late as 1890s.

Very good condition, a hand and machine-pressed heavy card and paper souvenir, ephemera - with 15 of the original 16 architectural souvenir lobes intact (one missing on the upper tier of 8 - see images). with the actual miniature engraving prints of architectural icons of London in very nice visual form, being excellent for age and type.  Suitable images to frame - your own souvenir of your own Grand Tour.
