Delightful antique Victorian era Black Forest hand carved 20" frame with ornate pierced or reticulated vines & foliage and displaying a fabulous Victorian needlepoint with musicians and beadwork or beaded accenting! I just LOVE this one, both the gorgeous Black Forest frame and the charming needlepoint featuring two musicians, one playing a violin and the other a pan pipe or pan flute! Medium sized as far as tapestries go so easy to fit in even the most crowded collection :).
Very good condition. The needlepoint is not original to the frame, you can see that it's been mounted more recently by looking at the back. Both are of roughly the same age though and they really are a marriage made in heaven! See images for all measurements.
