Fine large antique Napoleon III or Victorian era 23 1/4" tall walnut (?) wall cabinet, specimen or medicine chest with hand carved accents, two shelves & two drawers inside, silvered escutcheons and working lock with key! A wonderful piece, deep dark wood finish or aged patina and a fabulous wall hanging decorative piece of furniture! Great for use as a medicine cabinet in the bathroom or spices in the kitchen. Thick & heavy solid hardwood, I'm about 90% sure it's walnut. The interior has two shelves with grooves or slots cut into them, not sure to what end, and two drawers in the base with carved drawer fronts and turned pulls. We have one of these mounted over the toilet in our guest bath, a great place to store soaps and hand towels. Wonderful, don't miss it.
Very good condition. The shelf panels could easily be replaced if you so wish. There are two holes in the top panel, surely would have had two turned finials there that have gone missing over the years. A few surface marks or imperfections but no major damage, chips, cracks or repairs. See pictures for all measurements.
