Wall-hung carved wood pipe rack with dog. Hinged to fold down and hold up to 10 pipes, or riding crops, or perhaps kitchen spoons if you prefer, this hand carved Black Forest sculpture shows a hunting dog or hound. I found it in France, and it's beautifully preserved. Full measurements noted on the photos.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, dates early 1900s. Turned over, we've shown how the carver has inset wood as the project was crafted (not a flaw). I don't find any chips or breaks.
