Lovely antique French hallmarked sterling silver & likely Baccarat or St Louis glass large vanity jar, ornate textured exterior with engraved & gold enameled bow, ribbon & garland and silver top with interlaced "CM" or "MC" monogram!  One of a few singles and sets of matching antique to vintage French sterling topped vanity pieces that I'™ve recently been working on, getting ready for listing so, if you're looking for a few pieces to display in a guest or master bath, be sure to browse a little while you'™re with us. They really do add a touch of elegance, displayed on an old silver tray or even just by themselves, grouped near the sink perhaps. This a single and as elegant as can be with that gold enameled body and sleek sterling top. The silver portion lid bears the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" within that mark means it's in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith mark is for Gustave Keller, Paris circa 1881-1922.

Very good condition. There is a bit surface scuffing or light scratching to the silver top.  No chips or cracks to the glass. See pictures for all measurements.
