This c.1600s to 1700s aubusson woven French panel is a salvage from a much larger tapestry, and is already prepped to make up into a fabulous lush down-filled throw pillow. Surround it with a velvet or heavy moire silk fabric and an opulent fringe of French trim, and you'll have a $2500 value decorator antique pillow. I've kept so many of these fabulous old ones intending to make them all up for the shop or for my own homes, but it's really time to list them and let you do the handiwork. The subject and figures here are rare and the tiny restorations have all already been secured so it'll make up beautifully. Don't miss this one!

Very good to excellent condition for age and type. The canvas is supple and yarns are fine. Any tiny restoration needs have been done, a secure backing added to also protect the panel as you work it into a pillow top. The backing keeps the panel from being stretched and damaging it. Even now, writing this, I want to get out my sewing machine and make this one up. Beat me to it?  This panel is 13.5" x 13". Surround it with 5" of border fabric, some lush trim, a matching backing with a simple zipper, and insert your own down-filled pillow. Super simple.
