Belle Epoch (c.1900) French P and P Limoges, France porcelain dessert or entremet (starter course or salad) 8.5" plates, a set of 11. These are fine French plates that have been hand decorated in an intricate gold leaf-looking pattern, and signed on back by F. Williams. The plates are brilliantly beautiful in light. Photos show them well, light and in shadow. Layer them for a beautiful table.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, the plates are over 120 years old. One has a small rough spot on the gold rim, and some have light rub to the hand applied gold - overzealous washing most likely. I see no utensil marks, but they are used plates. Beautiful to display or for service. Set of 11, 8.5" diameters.
