An exceptional complete service dating turn of the Golden Age, 1900, by famed French maker, St. Louis. One of the finest names in glassware and crystal, you can see why the precious old sets are so sought after. Tall elegant stems in this one made a departure from the earlier tiny shot or cups used to serve a refreshing aperitif to one's guests before dinner, or at the end of the evening. The set includes 6 stems. It might have once had more but given the fragile nature, and the perfect table setting (6 fine friends is perfect), we know you'll love putting this one to work to honor and elevate your evenings with friends. They are not signed, but we know from experience, catalogues and reference books AND from the tiny remaining marketing stamps you see on bottoms of 2 of the stems that this is a pattern produced by St. Louis.

Very good to excellent condition throughout. The fact that the tray and both decanters, original come forward without even a chip on either of the stoppers, nor the stems or carafon tells us it was mostly set aside in display vitrine and treasured. Usually we find little signs of use in form of a tiny nip here or there. I am only abler to find a tiny rough spot (by fingertip) on the upper rim of the tray, 2 places. I think might represent a very tiny nip that's been filed by the glassmakers ages ago. The gold is not only painted on, but is almost set into the crystal as metal into glass. A fabulous look. Fabulous RARE set! Our photos are large and clear. We do expect our customers to review them all, evaluate the item based on both our description and our images. Thanks for all the compliments - we love what we do! Antiques & Uncommon Treasure - all the best, all the time!
