Charming antique French Napoleon III or Victorian era pocket watch or pendant display casket or miniature vitrine, a lovely souvenir box with basket weave style, original interior and thick beveled glass top with "Bon Secours" inscription! Bon Secours translates to "Good Help". Surely a souvenir of some sort and similar to the small French pocket watch caskets that we've had in the past but the inscription not a specific place or structure. Round at the bottom but the thick beveled glass lid has an oval shape and is slanted toward the front. Original red or pink silk or satin lining, the tufted base portion quite tattered but sort of adds to the visual appeal. Great to display a fine antique or heirloom pocket watch or pendant.
Very good condition. Some slight surface scratches/marks to the glass surface as you'd expect with age but no chips or cracks. As noted, the interior base fabric is quite age tattered. See images for all measurements.
