Box","description":"\u003cp\u003eGorgeous antique French hallmarked sterling silver \u0026amp; 18k gold \"vermeil\" 18pc dessert spoon or teaspoon set with Russian style spiraled round handles, gold plated bowls and in the original fitted storage and\/or presentation box!  Simply stunning and the condition makes me think they've just been a cherished possession and never used!  All bowls bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number \"1\" in the upper right corner of the marks means they're in solid .950 silver (95% pure and so above the .925 standard for \"sterling\" silver).  The silversmith marks are for Eugene Queille, Paris circa 1847-1895 though the inside of the box is marked by Cardeilhac, one of the more prominent of French silversmiths so the spoons may have been made by Queille for Cardeilhac (not all that uncommon for a silversmith to outsource once in a while).  Russian style round handles with a spiral extending the lengths and round or ball ends.  The gold thick and lustrous, not a hint of wear or loss, just a stunning set!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eExcellent condition.  No damage to note.  The box is also in great shape with just some evident age shrinkage to the wood resulting in some splitting to the leather covering.  A few scrapes, both clasps intact and working and the interior is near pristine.  See images for all weights and measurements.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Antiques \u0026 Uncommon Treasure","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":48471450124542,"sku":null,"price":995.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0298\/3392\/0556\/files\/626queillesa.jpg?v=1782507186","url":"https:\/\/antiques-uncommon-treasure.com\/fr\/products\/antique-french-sterling-silver-18k-gold-vermeil-18pc-teaspoon-or-dessert-spoon-set-orig-box","provider":"Antiques \u0026 Uncommon Treasure","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
