Such a fun item for dressing table, this is a 19th century hand carved wood vanity mirror and drawer, Black Forest as can be. The mirror has been blurred so you don't see our photographer in it, but it's the old original and quite clear, really. It's entirely hand carved, oak leaves, wood grain, limbs and leaves up top. A great accent for your cabin, lodge, or your Country French home decor. Any guest room will be all the more charming with this on dresser top. The mirror is pinned so it can move to the angle you choose (see images) and the drawer is generously sized enough to hold makeup or a gentleman's shaving tools. Late 1800s to perhaps 1900, it's charm, itself.
Good to very good condition. The mirror arms do detach which will make shipping much easier, and if you then wish to permanently anchor them with wood glue, all up to you. I find no serious chips nor any breaks. Might be a leaf tip - you look it over. I absolutely apologize that it got to my photographer without being completely cleaned and waxed. It will be much nicer upon delivery. Since listing, we've stripped the silvering from the old original beveled mirror, cut a new mirror and placed it directly behind so you still have the appearance of the beveled glass but a more clear mirror. We'll update the pictures soon. Note that it is better than shown. Our photographer did blur it to remove his image. You might want to set a couple little BF bears there on top - wouldn't it be wonderful to show off your collection? Measurements in total are on the photos, but it is 17.5" tall and 12" widest, 7" in depth, front to back.
