Dating as late as c.1920, this is a quite charming old carving and antler mount, smallish 3 point buck antlers as the sized antlers for this carved wood deer bust. A shield-like plaque, the overall height is 15", (all measurements noted on our photos).
Very good to excellent, it's hung in some lodge or cabin, or hunting room, stable and used as a crop hook, perhaps. I found it in France. I see no flaws to note, really, and it has a beautiful dark walnut look to it, nice detail.
