Charming antique Victorian era 14" x 13" footstool, a horseshoe shaped solid wood framework with gold accented finish black finish, gold painted raised horseshoe nails and displaying a lovely padded needlepoint panel featuring a St. Bernard dog! A delightful decorative accent and actually perfect for sitting computer work really, the slant so similar to the newer ergonomic foot rest that I use :).
Very good condition, age considered. As you can see, there is some wear to the black finish along the top outer edges and some to the gold painted accenting. There is also a visible split at the center of the horseshoe curve but that's just where the two sections are attached together and not a break. No damage to the needlepoint.
