Very unusual, and possibly associated with WWI, the shape was top with opening on bottom and the 'stuffing' or pillow form consisted of large cans of food. Each lobe covered a quart-sized can and a gallon can centered it. Do you remember ever seeing one? I remember as a child I couldn't lift it. This panel is, of course, exceptionally beautiful, and would make up as top for a splendid decorator pillow, fringed or with passementerie piping and corner tassels, down insert. Easy project. The panel is 21\" square, and as noted, has never been used. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eExcellent condition, never used and perfectly clean and bright, not a bead missing in that heavy glass beadwork center, and lush chenille work plush outer lobes with flowers. Canvas is supple and in excellent form.
