Found in Germany grouped in an antique jewelry lot I wanted, this is a fabulous estate bespoke bracelet marked ED, for artist Eberhard Dechow, German goldsmith working in 1980s through early 2000s. The bracelet is heavy, 54.1 grams, and is marked .925 for sterling silver, but with a generous 18k gold mounted decoration and 4 gem settings of onyx and amethyst and one small diamond. Full measurements noted on the photos. We do not have the certificate for this bracelet, but we found another by Dechow which does have certificate and auction price for reference only (see final image).
Very good to excellent. We were given a date of 2005 on this bracelet, though it might range earlier. It is a tour de force of goldsmith's artistry and I see no flaws to note. Beautiful craftsmanship, a Master goldsmith's work.
