Elegant antique American hallmarked sterling silver calling card case with unique curved shape, guilloche style machined or engraved decoration and ornate interlaced monogram, likely "AGK". The silversmith mark is on the inside lip and appears to be either for Watrous Manufacturing Co. or, perhaps, Webster Company though likely the former. Watrous Mfg. Co. was based in Wallingford, Connecticut from 1896, this piece likely dates to the early 1900s. A bit smaller than today's business cards actually, the interior is roughly 3" x 1 3/4" with today's cards about 3.5" x 2". A lovely piece nonetheless and surely worth ordering specially sized cards :).
Very good condition. There are three small dents/dings on the back side but the front without any flaws, as you can see. All pictures and weight in photos.
