Definitely by Daum, Nancy, the Napoleon III (c.1850-70) era crystal table set includes a carafon or small carafe for a single place setting, along with matching wine glass, 'timbale' in the French form. The set has been hand enameled with gold and adorned with raised gold enameling, as well. This decorating manner is very typical of Daum pieces of the era, and though it is an unsigned set (as most were) it is definitely Daum, shown in numerous museum collections as attributed to Daum makers. The decanter holds approximately 2 full servings of wine or water and these were used as individual place settings for fine dining. I've clicked photos in Palaces such as the Catherine Palace in St. Petersburg showing this same type/size 'carafon' in service at the formal dining table. Will add that photo if I can find it. The French still use small carafes like this at table for water service, as evidenced at many finer restaurants and also dining at home.

Very good to excellent condition, with only some rubs to the hand applied gold visible on the handle. No chips or cracks, and even the stopper, cap is with the set still. A beauty, all original, and definitely Daum. Measurements are noted on the photos.
