Antique 1870s French or English Victorian era cigar case with "HR" monogrammed silver cartouche and pristine red silk or satin lined interior! While working a group photo of our cigar cases today I realized that there were several in our inventory that have never been listed to our online shop yet. No wonder they haven't sold. See, sometimes I just overlook entire stashes of wonderful things. Sorry. Here is a stunning 19th century French case for cigars, made of beautiful antique chocolate/cognac colored shell that's deliciously appealing.
Very good to excellent: The case is excellent, all the way to the interior lining. No chips or cracks on this one. Exquisite, isn't it! There is no warp to this beauty; the clasp and hinges are strong, working well. Great for cigars, of course, but our buyer may wish to use the case for eyeglasses instead. The case holds up to 6 cigars. Superb! A real find!
