Gorgeous antique Moser, St Louis or Baccarat ribbed glass 8 7/8" vase with gold edged ruffled rim and ornate Louis XIV or Rococo style raised gold enamel decoration! A late 19th century, possibly circa 1880–1900, European art glass vase with a ruffled rim, ribbed body and raised gold enamel decoration including a broad band of curling foliage, shell-like motifs and floral garland. The shape and ornament suggest the historicist taste of the Victorian era with a blend of Rococo revival scrollwork and naturalistic floral motifs. No markings so we're unsure of the exact manufacturer but the style and quality are consistent with any of the above three makers. A beautiful piece in fabulous condition!
Very good condition. Some slight visible wear and/or losses to the raised gold enamel. I've included enlarged images from all sides/angles so look and enjoy. Some wear to the gold ruffled rim edging but no chips, cracks or damage. See images for all measurements.
