Elegant antique French silver plate demitasse or espresso sized coffee or tea cup with saucer, ornate Louis XIV or Rococo style decoration and in wonderful condition! Yes, silver plate here, the markings are for Henri Castel, a Parisian silversmith circa the early 1900s, and include "Metal Blanc, Castel & "5" ". Beautifully ornate with the extensive Rococo style decoration to both cup and saucer, the cup with remnants of a gold-washed or, perhaps, vermeil interior. All of the elegance of antique French sterling silver but at a fraction of the cost here. A lovely service for one, spoil yourself on a budget.
Very good to excellent condition. I see no loss or wear to the silver plating and just a bit of possible wear/fading to the goldwashed interior. No dents, damage or repairs to note. See pictures for all measurements.
