Fabulous antique Victorian era glass beadwork 9.5" picture frame or calendar note pad, wall hanging with opaque milk glass insert as a writing surface and gilt embossed leather backing with pen or pencil holder! This is an interesting piece, the way it is right now makes us think that it's like a Victorian version of a dry erase board, the milk glass insert used to write notes or reminders with the pencil that would have been held in the right side leather fixture. Of course, it would make a truly wonderful wall hanging picture frame if you wish, just replace the white with clear glass and (possibly) remove the pencil holder from the side. Either way, the beadwork is gorgeous with a turquoise or teal base and colorful flowers encircling the view.
