Fabulous PAIR of matching antique French sterling silver & intaglio etched or engraved double open salt or sweet meat caddies with acanthus accented center handles and thick blown & intaglio engraved glass base wells! The satin-frosted look to the intaglio etched or engraved double cup bases of these looks so much like fine Lalique glass items, don't they, but we haven't a signature we can rely upon to point to it being that. The silver is marked with a French Minerve #1, which guarantees we have fine .950/1000 (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for "sterling").  The silversmith marks are, unfortunately, elusive or not there so I've not been able to find reference as of yet.  Use them for sweet meats at the table or side table, or as large double open salts, it'll elevate the elegance of your table and they're guaranteed to impress!

Very good to excellent condition. Possibly a tiny nip or two to the glass but no larger chips, no cracks, no damage or repairs to note. Just gorgeous! See pictures for measurements.
