Perfect for table or mantel, the pair of antique 19th century French candlesticks, just in from France, are a heavy cast bronze with a gilded patina. They're 19th century but in the manner or style popular in the Louis XV to XVI era. Pleasing to the eye, heavy to the hand, each has a built-in bobeche to catch the melted wax. Very good to excellent, as far as I can see there is only one slight imperfection and that is one arm is slightly higher than the other on one of the candelabrum. This is bronze and not brass, so I am not going to try to try to adjust it and will leave it up to their next owner. A wonderful patina of age. They display beautifully!
