These are not antique! Vintage, custom hand made to order large pair, beautiful tapestry fabric with the look of silk embroidery on heavy silk. Large at 20" square, more or less. A top panel with piping, set into gathered fabric, which really adds to the luxurious feel of the set. The graduated tassel passementerie trim ranged to 2 1/2" in length and pulls the colors from the pillows. The back side is the same fabric, sans the piped panel and gathering. Found yesterday and couldn't really pass them by. The fill pillow insert is feather and down, and they are thick and opulent, yet crease well as you can see from our photos.
Very good to excellent throughout. No holes, no rips, no unseen spots. No damage, no stains, no odors, one or two tassels might need to be re-tied - some always come loose at some point. Just a yarn wrap on one or two if you want perfection again. The upholstery fabric used is very nice, a woven pattern that has the look of silk embroidery on heavy silk. It appears they are sewn closed rather than made with a zipper back. Aren't they just gorgeous!
