A matching set of 4 late 1800s English semi-porcelain china dinner plates 10.25" diameters in a delicate and stunning flow blue transferware pattern with golden rim. These are from my own collections, decades in the making, and are used now and then but primarily have been display plates, cabinet plates. There is no maker mark on this set of 4, but we know they date to 1894 production from the registration date number on back. Likewise, semi-porcelain rather than pottery, so a very fine set, indeed. They will only be sold as the set of 4. Please don't ask if I'll break up the grouping. Elegantly mix and match and layer with other complimenting floral patterns for a stunning table!
Very good to excellent condition for age and type. Again, from my own collections of decades, these have no chips, no hairlines or cracks. Very slight crazing of glaze is typical for these very old plates, and there may be small evidence of that. No utensil marks visible. Prettiest patterns ever - the old flow blue!
