Fine vintage French Puiforcat hallmarked silver plate 4 3/8" diameter box, an elegant vanity or tea jar with guilloche style machined lid and fantastic condition. We're dating this piece to the mid 1900s but company was founded in Paris in 1820 by Emile Puiforcat and his two cousins and owes most of its renown to Jean Puiforcat (1897-1945), who established the company in the avant-garde of modern silver wares (hence the EP hallmark).
Very good to excellent condition. No dents, damage or repairs to note and no loss of the thick French silver plating. See pictures for all measurements.
