With a repeating feature of thorn motif along each long curved tube, this is a beautiful antique Art Nouveau era French art glass bud vase. I've had a couple of this type of vase, but not made with the 'thorns'. I wanted to show it with roses, but will have to add photos once I get flowers. Unique and very elegant, it plays with light and is without any loss or damage. Full measurements noted on photos, it is very sturdy on the 3 curving 'legs' inherent in the design. Found in France, possibly Baccarat, but no signature.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, I find no nips, chips, hairlines or flaws. Glass is thick, thorn points are not sharp, won't cut or prick the hand.
