Absolutely gorgeous antique Belle Epoque era c. 1895-1923 COMPLETE matching 3pc sterling silver handled meat serving implement set with ornate French Second Empire style laurel & acanthus accented handles AND all beautifully kept in what appears to be the original fitted storage and/or presentation box! A wonderful set, complete and all pieces with matching pattern. The set includes 12.25" meat carving knife, fork & gigot and the storage case/box! Hallmarked sterling silver handles, the French Minerve or Minerva on each, the tiny number "1" mark within designates them as being .950 silver content (95% pure, higher than the .925 standard for sterling silver). There are silversmith marks are for Henri Lapeyre, Paris circa 1895-1923. Original silver plated gigot crimper and fork tines & steel blade on the knife. All original and all in wonderful shape, gorgeous!
Very good condition. A slight dimple possible to the silver handles but no larger dents, damage or repairs to note. Some tarnish and/or corrosion to the steel knife blade (pre-stainless steel). The box appears original, all pieces fit and the box itself is in great shape. See pictures for measurements.
