Beautiful 19th century set of French Terre de for (ironstone) 24 cm plates. In some photos the deep cobalt blue almost looks black, but it's inky dark blue, slight flow to the glaze. The set of 6 deep plates, pasta or soup plates, in elegant Art Nouveau pattern are glaze-marked on back, "Ville de St. Denis Nouveautés PARIS, Feïences et Cristaux (City of St. Denis, Nouveau, Paris, potteries and crystal). Wonderful French blue & white. Measurements noted on photos.
Very good to excellent condition throughout, for age and type. There are no chips, no hairlines, no cracks. Very nicely preserved and just in from France.
