Fine antique Victorian to early Edwardian era Black Forest hand carved 10.5" casket, a wonderful decorative box with a bundled wood or stalk styling and original royal blue silk or satin interior lining. I'm not sure of the exact motif here, the entire box with the look of bundled bunches of grain stalks, hay or something but very attractive, a great old Black Forest piece. The interior with the original lining, exterior in great shape and sure to please. A fabulous decorative piece, don't miss it.
Very good to excellent condition. There are a few small nips, most visible on the rope ties at each side. No warps or other damage to note. See pictures for all measurements.
