Beautiful antique French Napoleon III or Victorian era 11 1/4” desk, document or gloves box, a stunning casket in kingwood marquetry with ornate mother of pearl accents and brass cabochons! Okay, I must admit that this was one of my favorite finds from our recent Paris trip, I actually took it out and had it on the dresser in our flat so I could see it often :). Gorgeous book or page matched kingwood veneer marquetry, domed lid and all of those solid, shimmering mother of pearl accents including the reticulated cartouche and diamond shaped escutcheon. Love it!!
Very good condition. No key and the interior base portion is missing the original silk or satin lining but wow, the exterior is so stunning with no losses or damage. See pictures for measurements.
