The beautiful pair have been mine for 30 years or so, and once had 2 of the 5-branch candelabrum inserts, but now the figural candlesticks remain with just one, as shown. I've used the 2 figures together at table, or 1 with and 1 with our, set with candles, or sometimes just 1 with the 5-branch panel. I've also set the 5-branch into center of a low bowl of flowers, and centered it between the 2 figures, all depending upon the size of my expandable table. They've always been received favorably by guests, and are fabulous with any blue & white table setting. It's time to let them go to someone else's collection. They're around 100 years old by now, have a wishful Meissen mark, which I think sets them as Samson figures after Meissen. Heavy, gorgeous, with candelabrum insert, it rises to 19"., very impressive. 1" diameter candle holders. Full measurements noted on the photos.
Very good condition for age and type, loads of Meissen-style flowers attached and wonderful figures. Of course, one of the original 5-branch inserts lost to time, as well as 4 fingers missing on one hand of the woman, and 3 fingers to one hand of the man. Additional loss to rim of one candle bobech on the 5-branch - all of which are detailed for your review on one photo panel. A beautiful set, impressive in display or at table.
