Cutest bear ever, this is a late 19th century hand carved Black Forest desktop thermometer stand with a 7" bear, glass eyes. Larger stand than usual, great for bookshelf display. Full measurements noted on photos.
Excellent condition throughout, this is the very rare antique Black Forest carving that has no chips, no hairline shrinkage cracks, no flaws to note. Milk glass backing and thermometer both without damage and working properly, numbered for both F. and C., sturdy on his carved base. Lifelike glass eyes and a painted mouth. None finer! Found in France.
