Remarkable antique Victorian era Black Forest hand carved 15" tall vanity or boudoir mirror, highly ornate pierced or reticulated vines & foliage and quite rare figures including bird, snail and snake winding around branch! One of two Black Forest mirrors that we're adding this week, the other with a Brienz bear. This one a fabulous piece with the vines encircling the oval mirror and I just love that snake with it's body winding around the lower left leg. A wonderful decorative accent, don't miss it!
Very good condition. The mirror is a replacement and the easel stand was broken so we just added a mahogany panel. A few chips to the carved portions of the frame. See pictures for all measurements.
