Elegant antique French sterling silver 2pc condiment or hors d'oeuvre serving implement set, a pate knife & reticulated scoop or spatula with Empire style pattern consisting of bow topped laurel garland framed medallions and crossed quiver & torch accents! Likely from a set of four originally, or larger flatware ensemble but these two are simply wonderful and we had to have them. Empire style pattern and easily fit into your existing fine table service surely. Both solid silver and bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" within those marks means they're in .950 silver (95% pure so higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). Silversmith marks are for easily visible and may be for Pierre Queille of Paris. A lovely set, don't miss them.
