Elegant antique French sterling silver 2" napkin ring with Louis XIV or rococo style pattern with rocaille, flowers & cattails in moderate bas relief, thick & heavy at 42 grams and in fabulous condition! It bears the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" within the mark means it's in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith mark is for Emile Huignard, Paris circa 1880. Very good condition. This one weighs 42 grams, built to last, fine condition as you can see from the images. Faint surface scuffing and tarnish in the deep recessed areas and there is a slight split on the rear were the flat silver panel is soldered together. No other dents, damage or repairs to note.
