Elegant antique French hallmarked sterling silver 2pc open or master salt set with original blown glass inserts and ornate Louis XIV or Rococo styling! A pair yes but what a lovely pair! Both bear the post-1878 French Minerve or Minerva hallmarks, the tiny number "1" within those marks means they're in .950 silver (95% pure so higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith marks are there but too tiny for me to get a good photo or decipher to narrow down the maker or date of manufacture. A lovely pair, don't miss them.
Very good condition. A tiny dimple or two to the silver salts and some age tarnish visible in spots but both glass inserts are original and in great shape. See pictures for all measurements.
