Made for and marketed by "William Lycett & Sons, Decorators, Atlanta", 19th century purveyor of finest luxury goods and tableware. The set has 6 remaining plates, dessert plates 7 3/4" diameters with broad hand applied gold border and elaborate monograms. We have 2 other sets of the same initial owners, all with the same monogram. The other sizes will be offered as separate grouped listings, sold separately by the size. The plate maker if Hutchenreuther, Bavaria, marks are shown on our photos. Belle Epoch the set will date between 1880-1900. We have 2 other sets of Haviland from the same original owner and with same basic design decoration and elegant monogram, the others each sold separately as sized sets. Be sure to look for those.
Very good condition throughout, but one has a fine tight hairline (see photos). They appear not to have been used much if at all, and are otherwise without noticeable flaws such as crazing or utensil marks. A beautiful set of 6.
