I only buy the very best tapestry panels - here is another from my private stash, collected over decades of buying in Europe. This panel would be 17th century, and presents in exceptionally fine and professionally restored perfection, linen backed and ready for you to make up into a magnificent decorator throw pillow, or to hang on the wall as the art it truly is. As you know, figural tapestry fragments are rare, and as you can see this one is just superb. I bought it for myself, but it's time to share. We have a good selection up now for you to mix-match and thrill your decor. Full measurements are noted on the photos, but it is 17" tall and 15" wide, very fine yarns in wool and silk. I've placed a ruler on it so you can see how early and fine the loom work truly is. A museum piece!
Very good to excellent condition throughout. If it needed any restoration, it's been professionally done. No holes, no losses, a fragment from a huge and opulent tapestry of great worth. Hang as art, or frame it, or as I had intended, make it up into a luxurious down-filled and lushly trimmed decorator throw pillow. Such a simple project, but one I'm not going to get done, I'm afraid. Your gain!
